Biscuit Bonanza!

Okay, everyone knows you only go to Red Lobster for the biscuits. Yesterday, Red Lobster just lost some business.

Hellooooo garlic cheesy biscuit goodness. SO good people. Go home and make this tonight, and then to thank me, make some more and send them to me.

On to the recipe. (Adapted from One of my favorite websites of all time.)

Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Servings: 10 (although when we made the recipe, we only got 8 biscuits)


2 cups buttermilk baking mix
2/3 cup milk
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic powder (or more to taste)

1/2 teaspoon parsley (or more to taste)

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  2. Combine baking mix, milk, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and cheddar cheese in mixing bowl. Beat with wooden spoon till soft dough forms.
  3. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Mix butter, parsley and garlic powder and brush half of mix over biscuits. Bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Brush the remaining butter mixture over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.
